who i am and how i got here

I grew up in North Queensland, and that's affected basically every part of who I am. Hobbies that have carried over from my childhood include camping, bushwalking, and cooking. I'm also starting to learn four-wheel-driving in my spare time.

Much of where I've come from has involved computers; both in terms of work and play. I've worked in technology-oriented industries for basically my entire adult life. I also enjoy games: some of my all-time favorites are Factorio, Monster Hunter, and the Etrian Odyssey series.
